A Division is a cluster of districts, created for the purpose of civil administration. At present, there are total 5 division of Punjab .

1. Jalandhar Division: Jalandhar Division is located in the central part of Punjab. It comprises districts such as Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, and Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar (also known as Nawanshahr).

2. Patiala Division: Patiala Division is situated in the southeastern part of Punjab. It includes districts like Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Barnala, and Sangrur.

3. Ferozepur Division: Ferozepur Division is located in the southwestern part of Punjab. It consists of districts such as Ferozepur, Muktsar, Faridkot, and Fazilka.

4. Roopnagar Division: Roopnagar Division, also known as Rupnagar Division, is in the eastern part of Punjab. It includes districts like Roopnagar (Rupnagar), SAS Nagar (Mohali), and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.

5. Faridkot Division: Faridkot Division is situated in the western part of Punjab. It comprises districts such as Faridkot, Bathinda, and Mansa.
