10 Idioms for SSC CGL (with Hindi meaning)

1. A dime a dozen (एक दर्जन में एक पैसा): Very common and easily found.

   • Example: Honest politicians are a dime a dozen these days. (इन दिनों ईमानदार राजनेता एक दर्जन में एक पैसा हैं।)

2. Barking up the wrong tree (गलत पेड़ पर चढ़ना): Looking in the wrong place for something.

   • Example: You're barking up the wrong tree if you think I stole your phone. (आप गलत पेड़ पर चढ़ रहे हैं अगर आपको लगता है कि मैंने आपका फोन चुरा लिया।)

3. Burn the midnight oil (रात को देर तक पढ़ाई करना): To stay up late studying or working.

   • Example: He had to burn the midnight oil to prepare for the exam. (परीक्षा की तैयारी के लिए उसे रात को देर तक पढ़ाई करनी पड़ी।)
