10. Sinecure: “sine" (meaning "without") and "cura" (meaning "care" or "worry"),a position or job that requires little or no work but provides a regular salary or income.
Example: The position of museum director was considered a sinecure, as the person appointed to the role had no previous experience in curating, and the actual responsibilities were handled by the deputy director.
